I know we all need some hope, faith, and encouragement in the midst of trying to grow our families. Here are are a few of my favorite resources to feed my faith.
A friend of mine gave me this book and I didn’t want to read it because I thought it would be depressing to read about another person’s struggle with infertility. However, I felt compelled to read it anyway and found it anything but depressing. It was completely uplifting and touched my heart in new ways that prepared me for this journey. I am so grateful Sara was willing to share her story with all of us.
Health and Wholeness Through the Holy Communion by Joseph Prince
Joseph Prince is an incredible pastor and teacher of grace from Singapore. He has a unique way of delivering the gospel like I’ve never heard before and I am always so blessed by his messages. This booklet is an incredible resource for anyone wanting to learn about the blessings that come with receiving communion. I’ve incorporated the practice of receiving communion into my daily routine because of this book. He also has a DVD teaching series on the same topic.

It’s Positive! Blog by Meredith
This is a newer site (founded around the same time as Grow My Family) by one of my new favorite faith and infertility bloggers. It’s full of insights from scripture, personal reflections, and the chronicling of her faith journey of growing her family.
In Due Time Blog by Caroline
A life and faith blog by Caroline. Caroline shares her story of pressing into faith while waiting for her miracle. I actually found Caroline’s blog way, way back before I ever knew I would face a similar journey. I would visit it from time to time and I have been so encouraged by her continued faith and perseverance through the years.
